Not Your Childhood Tank
Most people have seen a freshwater aquarium, and many have even kept one before. While we can't promise a whole new look, we can certainly shake things up. Every fish we add is picked just for your setup, and we often create our tanks to suit the environment they are placed in. From large and easy-to-see cichlids, to overlooked specialty gems, we will find something to please everyone.
Our Services
We manage all of the maintenance and upkeep of the aquarium. We also provide everything needed to properly tend to the fish. This includes all foods (frozen or dry), water additives, and medication if the need arises.
Scheduling: In general, we service freshwater aquariums 1-2 times a month and will work with you to find a schedule that is right for everyone.
Decor: Once a month, we will change out the decorations in the tank. We handpick decor for each client and are constantly expanding our options. This includes themed and holiday pieces. Please visit our Photo Gallery to see a few examples.
Range: We are based in Tyler, TX and serve most of the surrounding area, from Mt. Pleasant to Marshall. However, we do charge a distance fee for certain locations. Please contact us for details.
One Request
We take great pleasure in caring for beautiful and well-balanced tanks, and great pride in the health of any fish we supply. All of our fish undergo a thorough quarantine process before they ever leave our workshop. Because most aquatic illnesses are very contagious and very deadly, we ask that any of our clients do not purchase animals elsewhere. You are not contractually obligated to do so and are free to check our prices against our competitors, but introducing new fish can make care more difficult and lead to unnecessary losses.
If you still wish to purchase your animals elsewhere, we have a compromise available. While we will continue service (and provide suggestions toward future additions), we will no longer sell fish to you. If you wish to add animals to your tank yourself, please be forward and honest with us about it so that we can continue to provide the best care possible.
